FESTIVALS
Winter and spring festival seasons are always highly anticipated and growing in popularity every year. Here's a quick rundown to help you plan your visit.

October to November: Independence celebrations, including World Creole Music Festival, Creole in the Park, Independence Day at the Roseau stadium and island-wide village celebrations.

February or March: Carnival

April to June: DOMFESTA, a celebration of the arts, including poetry, stage plays, the visual arts and music.

HikeFest - requires sing-up and a fee. Hikes are schedule for every Saturday in the month and you choose the level of difficulty.

Jazz 'n Creole Festival (JazzFest) - held at Fort Shirley National Park, it is a day-long affair of music, crafts, great food and drink in a vibrant atmosphere.

July: DiveFest - the annual scuba diving event featuring the Kubuli Canoe Race and a whale watching tour.
